MultiAir Technology

MultiAir is a technological revolution; as much of a significant turning point for petrol engines as common rail was for diesel engines. It is an innovative hydro–electric system for operating the engine’s intake valves that allows more direct and dynamic control of air intake and combustion. It is significant progression from an environmental and economic perspective as MultiAir reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Safety and Control

The MiTo complies with the highest Euro NCAP safety rating. It comes with 7 airbags, double pre–tensioners on the front seatbelts and anti–whiplash front seats. It also has a collapsible steering wheel, enhance grip on thee tyres and SBR (Seat Belt Reminder) technology where indicators on a small screen indicate whether the seatbelts of passengers are fastened or not.

Alfa Romeo D.N.A.

A revolutionary innovation which provides 2 drive settings, 3 levels of steering response and 3 different kinds of handling. This is Alfa Romeo D.N.A. – it alters the car’s response according to the driving conditions, yet is surprisingly simple to operate. With just a flick of the selector near the gear stick, the entire dynamics of the car change. The steering and accelerator pedal become more or less responsive depending on the mode selector.

Blue&Me™

On board you’ll find Blue&Me™ – the telematic and multimedia heart of the MiTo. It offers a hands-free system with Bluetooth®, USB port and mp3/wma media player. It makes it possible to use mobile phones safely, make/receive phone calls or read SMS messages using the car’s audio–voice system.
