Q2 Front Self Locking Differential
The Alfa 147 Q2 system.
Most traction control systems work by applying the brakes or cutting engine power when wheels start to spin, which results in a loss of speed. However, with the Q2 limited slip differential, the moment the inside wheel begins to lose grip, power is transferred to the outside wheel. This means less understeer, increased stability and higher cornering speeds.
The Q2 system also delays the intervention of the 147’s control systems, providing improved traction and more driving pleasure.
