Gap Plan
GAP Plan starts to protect you where your conventional motor insurance stops. Imagine your Alfa Romeo is stolen and written off. Your Motor Insurer pays you the agreed full insured value – say £12,500 – but the balance of your finance agreement may be higher – £15,000 for example. It’s very easy to find yourself out of pocket.
GAP Plan covers the shortfall between your Motor Insurer’s settlement figure and the balance of your outstanding finance up to a maximum of £7,500, so if the all-too-frequent scenario above did happen to you and your Alfa Romeo, GAP Plan would settle the difference. For a small one-off payment you can enjoy this cover for the term of your finance agreement, up to a maximum of 5 years.
GAP Plan will cover your car as long as it’s comprehensively insured. It will even cover agreements with a lump sum final payment.*
